About PASIA

A message from our Director

Why we built a helper agency that quotes openly, explains every step, and still answers the phone a year after placement day.

In short: Paramount Asia was founded on a simple conviction – hiring a domestic helper should be understandable. Our Director's message explains why we publish fee ranges openly, assign one named specialist per case, and back every placement with aftersales. Licensed in Hong Kong under Cap. 57 and its regulations (Cap. 57A).

To every family considering us,

I have spent most of my working life around this industry, and the same two conversations keep repeating. A family tells me they signed something they did not fully understand. A helper tells me she was treated as paperwork rather than a person. Both are avoidable. Paramount Asia exists because we decided to stop treating them as normal.

So we built the agency around three commitments, and we would rather lose a placement than break them.

We tell you the price before you ask. Employer-side agency fees in Hong Kong are not capped by law – only the helper's side is, at 10% of her first month's wage under Cap. 57. That asymmetry is exactly why so many families are quoted a number only after they are emotionally committed. We publish our service ranges on the website, before the first call, so you can compare us against anyone.

You get a person, not a queue. One named specialist owns your case from the first consultation to the first working day. They know your household, your timeline and your paperwork. You will not re-explain your situation to a new voice every time you call.

The relationship does not end at placement. A signature is the easy part. The first month is where a match is actually made or lost – the routine, the language, the small misunderstandings nobody warned either side about. Our aftersales window and welfare check-ins exist because that is when families and helpers genuinely need us.

I want to be equally direct about the other side of this business. The women we place leave their own families to care for yours. They are not a product line. We screen carefully, we brief honestly about what the role actually involves, and we hold ourselves to the same standard of treatment we would want for someone in our own family. When employers tell us a helper has stayed for years, that is the number we are proudest of – not how quickly we closed the file.

If you are hiring for the first time, you will have more questions than you think you are allowed to ask. Ask them. That is what we are licensed and paid to answer.

Thank you for considering us.
